RDA Is Wake-Up Call for Data Managers


The Basel Committee for Banking Supervision has set an aggressive deadline for Risk Data Aggregation (RDA). BCBS 239 puts banks and their existing data management practices in the crosshairs, since the industry realized that information technology and risk practices were not sufficient during the most recent financial crisis. RDA requires banks to move quickly to improve data sharing and fine-tune risk management.
